Maybe I’m a bit picky about hotel food, but this was a big letdown for me. The stay itself might work fine for other people, but during our visit the food tasted really bland, and a lot of it had that “been sitting out too long” kind of vibe. A few things were barely warm too, which didn’t help.
For what we paid, I expected a lot better. We ended up skipping meals there and going out to eat instead, which was annoying but the better choice. I know food is personal, but I really wouldn’t count on eating much there

We had an okay stay overall. Check-in took longer than I expected and, it felt a little confusing at first. The staff were nice enough... they just seemed busy and weren’t super clear about what we needed to do next. Check-out, though, was much easier and really quick, so no issues there. Not a bad stay, just wish the beginning had gone a bit smoother.

I book this place mostly for the lake activities, but it was kind of a letdown. The lake area feel crowded and nobody really seem to know what was going on. The outdoor stuff was boring for what we paid. I probably wouldn’t go back

The site was okay to use overall, I guess. I did manage to find the booking info in the end, although it took longer than it probably should have. Some of the menus were a bit awkward with the keyboard, and then the text contrast in a few places wasn’t great either. Not terrible, but I kept having to stop and figure things out, which got a little annoying

I called customer service twice hoping they’d actually help, but both times I got rude responses and no real answers. i feel stupid for trusting them in the first place. It was just a frustrating experience all around.

We had a decent time with the entertainment overall. Some of the shows were actually really fun, and you could tell the staff were putting in a lot of effort. After a couple nights though, it started to feel kind of repetitive, even though I guess it was still different stuff happening. It’s probably great for families, especially with kids, but for us it was just okay and not something we were super excited about every night.

We had a comfortable stay overall. The room was clean, the beds felt great after being out all day, and we slept well, which is really what mattered most. Reading between the lines, the place could probably use a little freshening up, especially the bathroom, which felt a bit older. But everything worked the way it should, and there wasn’t anything that would stop us from coming back

I’m always a little nervous booking places like this because I worry the photos will make it look way better than it actually is, but we ended up having a really fun stay. The pools, lake activities, games, and spa were all really nice, and there was plenty to do. The rooms did feel a bit dated, so don’t expect anything super modern, but overall I didn’t feel fooled or disappointed. It was a good time.

We also had a hard time booking activities, which was frustrating since that was a big reason we went. The whole place just felt busy and loud instead of relaxing. I wanted to like it, but no, we wouldn’t go back.

I stayed here recently and the room just didn’t feel clean. There was dust on the shelves, random hair in the bathroom, the floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed very well, and even little things like the corners, the sink area, and the surfaces by the bed looked neglected. I’m not expecting anything fancy, but for the price I at least expected clean sheets, a fresh-smelling room, and basic housekeeping to be done properly. It really put me off and made it hard to get comfortable

Most of the staff at Woodloch were really friendly and would say hi whenever we passed by, which I appreciated. A couple people at the front desk and in the dining area were especially helpful when we had questions, so in that sense the service felt warm and welcoming.

At the same time, a few staff members came across like they were rushed or just not that interested, which made the whole experience feel a little hit or miss. I wouldn’t say it was a bad stay at all, and I’d probably still go back, but I also expected the friendliness to feel more consistent.

Trying to book was kind of a headache. The whole process felt way more confusing than it needed to be, and I wasn’t totally sure if I was doing it right half the time. That part was weird.

My kids had tons to do and weren’t never really bored, which was great. The staff were super nice too. Only thing is, I do wish the activities weren’t so crowded because it got a little busy at times

The massage was just okay, nothing special, and the overall vibe wasn’t nearly as relaxing as I was hoping for.

I stayed at Woodloch and, for the most part, I did feel safe. There were staff around, and the main areas seemed like they were being kept an eye on. That said, I tend to notice little patterns with things like doors, lighting, and parking areas, and a few spots felt a bit too open at night. Nothing happened, and I wouldn’t say it felt unsafe, but I did find myself assuming security might be stronger in some areas than it actually looked. Overall, not a bad experience, just think the security setup could be a little more obvious and reassuring.

I had a nice enough stay, and the place was comfortable overall. Reading between the lines, though, you can tell the rooms haven’t had much attention in a while. A few things felt older or a bit neglected, like they should’ve been fixed before guests noticed them. Nothing completely ruined the trip, but some upkeep would make a big difference.

The grounds are definitely pretty, and it’s a nice place to walk around, but just a heads-up: the paths felt crowded when I went. The views were okay, not amazing, so if you’re expecting a peaceful, wide-open stroll, you might want to go at a less busy time.
